We publish testimonials and reviews from students and clients on azizshamanism.com and in our marketing. This page explains how we handle them, in line with UK advertising rules and consumer law on reviews.
They are real
Every testimonial we display was sent to us by a real student or client, in writing, by audio or by video, or was posted by them in a course or workshop. We do not write testimonials ourselves, we do not pay for them, and we never tell anyone what to say. Where someone has given a testimonial in exchange for a free or discounted course or session, we say so next to it.
They are individual experiences
A testimonial describes one person’s experience. Spiritual, energetic and healing work affects different people in different ways, and the results one student reports are not a promise or prediction of what you will experience. We make no claim that any testimonial shows typical results.
How we edit them
Testimonials are shown as given, apart from correcting spelling, grammar and typing errors. Where a testimonial is long we may shorten it, keeping the meaning intact and leaving out only parts that do not relate to our courses, sessions or products. We may use a first name, initials or a chosen name where the person prefers not to be named in full.
Reviews we choose not to publish
We do not remove honest negative feedback simply because it is negative. We may decline to publish a review that is abusive, contains someone else’s personal information, is off topic, or that we have reason to believe is not genuine. We do not suppress reviews to make our ratings look better than they are.
Medical and results claims
Testimonials that mention physical or mental health describe the writer’s own experience. They are not medical evidence and are not a claim that our work treats or cures any condition. Please read our Medical Disclaimer.
Your testimonial
If you send us a testimonial, you give us permission to publish it on our website, in our courses and in our marketing, in full or shortened as described above. You can ask us to update or remove it at any time by emailing [email protected].
