MASTERING THE ILLUSION

You will have often heard the idea that this reality is just a matrix, but that still poses the question; how do we gain mastery over this matrix and manifest our desires?

The first clue is to recognise that we are in a dream, and we are not trying to change reality by accessing other realms, but rather we control the dream by shifting our attention to the more real.

Is this idea even scientific? To demonstrate that I will start with the creation of the Universe: The lambda CD model (often incorrectly called the big bang theory).  The scientists spoke of the fact that space/time was expanding. It was a TV presenter who misinterpreted it and called it a big bang. Actually, there was no big bang. Space/Time itself expands, so everything in it moves further apart.

Space is not just empty; if it were a true vacuum, light would not travel through it. Space has been found to have electromagnetic properties known as permittivity and permeability, and these determine the speed of light. Before anything can exist in 3D, there must first be Space/Time. It’s very much like having a 2D surface before you can make a picture. 3D creation begins as movement in Space/Time. At first, there are waves. These are non-local, but spread across all space.  Observation localises the wave into a particle. Particles are only measured by spin. So when a wave is observed, it draws into a vortex that is now localised in space. This is all that particles are. They make up all the 3D universe,  but it’s a bit like a single dot on a traditional tube TV creating the illusion of a picture. This creation suggests that there must have already been a consciousness to observe Space/Time. As it’s non-local, we are all a part of it.  The only other variable that determines how particles behave is expectation. What I am pointing out here is that the whole 3D world around us is an illusion created by consciousness, observation and expectation.

Here’s the main obstacle: once we believe it is all real, we forget that we create it and can change it; our expectation is now fixed on how it is, so that’s what we continue to create.

So the first step to mastery is to let go of the realness of things. A big drawback we see in people’s understanding and use of this principle, is misunderstanding of detachment. A less complex consciousness can’t understand how to let go of the realness of things; they have to let go of the things themselves. This is why they came up with ideas of poverty, letting go of material things, relationships etc. The problem with that is that they are making these things more real than the people who have them. True detachment means I can have anything, and it makes no difference to who I am. If my spirituality depends on me not having them, then that makes them incredibly real.

Detachment requires more innocence, like children playing their pretend games. They pass round more tea, more cake, more money etc, enjoying their little illusion. You can have as much nothing as you want, and nobody gets jealous if you have more nothing than them.

Have you ever noticed how some people are very good at creating small stuff, like a parking spot in the right place, but as soon as they have a real problem, they can’t do anything about it? It’s the things you make real that you won’t change. Different people make different things real. To some, their job is real. To others, their relationships are real. To others, their health is real. Though they may change anything else in their lives, once they have a real problem, suddenly they are powerless.

So, how do you make everything less real? It’s very hard when you think this 3D world is all there is. We need something else to place attention on, something of the more real, i.e. consciousness.  Meditation takes you out of the illusion into the realm of consciousness. This can include building a relationship with your Higher Self, with your Creator, however you perceive that, prayer, ritual etc. Basically you need to develop your spirituality. The more you do, the more you reach beyond the illusion, the easier it is to manifest all your desires.

There are spiritual practices that can greatly help this process. Plant medicines, for example. Ayahuasca is one I have found particularly powerful when used properly within sacred ritual. The level of vision it gives makes you far more aware of the spiritual realms. I recommend it to anyone who feels stuck on their path. It can make a great breakthrough.

Of course, there are ways that don’t involve taking any substances.  The Dragon/ Faerie magick series I offer provides a series of initiations to explore the spiritual realms, while providing methods of releasing all the blocks that stand in your way, building powerful relationships with spiritual beings, and through this, master the art of creating your own reality.

For those who don’t want to go through all the training, a quicker way to build that spiritual connection is through khodams.  It’s a service I offer, to bind a khodam to you. These are high-level spiritual helpers and protectors. When you feel how it protects you and gets you out of difficult situations, and starts communicating with you in dreams, you will quickly feel how real the spiritual dimensions are.

The Sirian Triangle

As long as you are building some kind of spirituality, there is one simple technique you can use to make anything less real or more real: the Sirian triangle. (By the way, as well as making the things you want to change less real, its useful to make your spirituality more real).

The Sirian triangle is one that has a particular ratio to the length of its sides. If the base is 4 units,  then each of the other two sides is 9 units. For example, to use it as a doorway, you may see the base 4 feet wide, and the two sides 9 feet each, so you have quite a tall triangular doorway.

To use it, take a moment to relax, ready for meditation. Imagine this triangular door in front of you, then step through it, into a pale blue light. Here, decide what you would like to make less real, and what you would like to make more real.  Then you just kind of let it happen. Allow yourself to go into a meditative state. There will be a subtle shift in consciousness. When you are ready, just step back out of the triangle and come back to your body.
